Theres a brazilian model, TAGIMA ZERO, that has 27 frets
Ah, is it a baritone scale too?

I would go with a All maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. and a MAHOGANY BODY WITH MAPLE CAP.
that probably gives me the sound iīm after
And neck thru
Q:p
baritone scale of course.

I'd like to have a guitar with at least 29 frets for novelty purposes, but I imagine the scale length required for it would mean that the guitar didn't sound that good. I'd expect anything a lot longer than 25 1/2" would be pretty awful sounding due to the excessive brightness, provided it was still in standard tuning.

Yes, it got 25 frets. My last custom also had 25 frets. Itīs not cause Iīll use fret 25 but it makes it easier to reach fret 20-24. So thereīs a reason for the neck having 25 frets.

Itīs 25.5 scale length, 25 jumbo frets, 16" radius. I canīt feel no difference between my guitars with 25.5 scale and 24 frets and the one I got at home right now with 25 frets. Itīs the same, just add one fret. I mean.. whay have 24 frets when You can have 25?  :P

If the scale length is the same then fret access will be the same wether you have 24 or 25  :?

My old teacher had a 36 fret axe of his own making. Scalloped board too.

Grand up till about the 24th or so, with rapidly diminishing usefulness after that.

"The fingers you have used to play are too fat. To recieve a special fretting wand, please mash the fretboard with your palm"
Evil, Evil, Evil...
