Just used him as an example CJ- I don't know enough about Slash y'see. Exceptions to my argument would probably be Hank Marvin or that geezer out of Queen who, so I am told, likes to work his solos out in advance- not that I am criticising- just horses for courses. But lets not hijack Toms post.

I had a mate called Paul who had hair like that geezer in Queen. We used to call him Brian for some reason!

On topic-ish Yeah! We're all singing form the same hymn sheet! It's much better that way but in the Paul look alikes defence he said that if your head comes up with things instead of your fingers and your fingers find the notes from your head, then it......well it sounds like Queen!!   Well it's a composition. Riffs is good for that approach.

Sorry Tom!

Back on topic. Slash is cool! He has great feel too. I'd like to analyse his style a bit more but no time really.

When I hear this I realise I've made the right choice by getting the mule, but I will not even hear it until tommorow! as James Brown says 'take it to the bridge' lol

I would like to hear the whole song though, but it's a really nice sound considering your setup and if it sounds that good through that, just imagine how it would sound through the real thing! wow  :D

I want a conford harlequin

I recon slash should've stook with slash's snakepit, but that's life, and he's old and I'm young. :P

what pickups did you use for all the seperate tracks? I hear a lot of guitar layers going on there. I'm getting a mule in the bridge fitted into my axe tommorow.

Ah, some of the guitars were included in the backing. I just did the distorted chorus chords, lead, and clean verse bit with a bit of chorus. It does indeed sound better through a real amp cranked :D
