I was impressed that Slash had the same cigarette burning for 3 songs and it never got shorter.
I wonder if he actually smokes or whether it is just a look like Keith Richards / Joe perry thing - having a fake fag hanging out of his mouth

I was disappointed by them at Live 8 and wasn't so keen on the album - guess I wanted G'N'R mk 2

Scott had his Bowie vibe going on  and Matt Sorum played really well and guitars and bass were good but just didn't kick.

Wonder what the crowd would have done to them playing a GNR song - sweet child or paradise city or jungle (think it might have gone wild)

I've seen them do Jungle live on TV, I believe it was at Pink Pop. The crowd went ape.

Saw VR at Ozzfest this past september and they ROCKED.

To be honest I really went to see the Oz man's last (apparently) Ozzfest, and although Sabbath are the KINGS/ORIGINATORS etc. etc. etc., to be honest (ducking down to avoid p*ss missiles) VR stole the show.

Zakk and his BLS, yeah well, he can play but IMO, needs to play and stop the ego thang abit. Hope he finds "his" way again.

Anyway, STP and GNR songs were played and VR were amazing.

Best gig ever been to too. Got 2nd off ebay at last minute. For those of you not familiar with it it was outside at ynthia Woods Pavillion North of Houston and was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
