It's ok Johnny
Will be working on it tomorrow or the next "custom day" in the workshop
I now allocate days to dong customs as it is easy to get so caught up in the everyday repair work that the customs dont get as much attention as hey need.

Also interviewing for another member of staff with guitar-making college training

Nice one Jonathon! I'm absolutely gagging for it!

In the vein of Koch jokes; Feline=Pussy, erm plug them in...oh for god sake stop it!

This has all come about from Hunters portable recording gadget and the samples you could do with it. With the midi capabilities of this beast of a guitar my mind won't let me rest! Could it really be possible to play a harmonic minor scale with the voice of a horse? Eeek!

My desire for this instrument is causing me insomnia!

Sorry, I'll get me coat.

Johnny - JT has asked me to post some pix on the forum of the wood of your guitar
Found a couple of pix that better showed the grain than had been on my site before , so I thought I would share with you both (and anyone who is interested). Will be working on her tomorrow (Custom Tuesday)

Thought it must be finished, reviving this thread

Custom Tuesday certainly has a better ring to it than Super Tuesday ALA US politics :D

No - it has dragged on too long and am intending to give it my full attention, and getting her finished and sounding great.
Have missed having a full time helper on the repair side of the business since Chris died.
Am looking forward to my trainee (Ben) becoming available full time in July and am interviewing for a new trainee (another student doing guitar making at Merton College) sometime this week.
