Caffine, if you cut it down then you'll find the groove! It's uptight and tence. V2 is too IMHO.

Try a swift half and listen to the original, get that groove in your head and then play, give it 10 mins then hit record.

i tried what you said, and no matter what i do (even drinking - helps me relax and get into music much easier) it still sounds the same, i think its more to do with the way i strum, as i don't usually play chords at all

Lay off the coffee and red bull! Your brain doesn't need all that to work mate! A bit's ok but I feel your caneing it!

Fruit juice will give you a natural high if you give yourself time to allow your body and mind to adapt. Anyway I'm not going to go all Gillian McKeith on you!   Can you see why dudes like Bob Marley were so good at what they did and why?  8)

That is better- as you say, still slightly fast but as Johnny said, learning to relax into the thing is a hard thing to do.You timing was not bad though-did you use a click track or metronome? Timing is extremely important in music ( like comedy really which I have never mastered)-sorry, I am sounding like a patronising git and I don't intend to.

Ahh bless him!! :D

Play along with the track Caffeine, (I'm going to have to call you Ocean Spray from now on to encourage you!)

It'll burn into your brain the more you play along to it. The more you play an amended version of something the harder it is to rectify it.

Good luck and keep the fire in your belly!
