Nail bomb ceramic

HI I'm french so, excuse me for the english.

Is there nobody with a nailbomb ceramic in this forum?

I wanna buy this pickups, for death trash and black metal, instead of take the alnico like one friend of mine, I have this idea of buying the ceramic pickups. Do you think the nail bomb will become too tigh, or too screaming.

Tim had advise me to take a warpig with ceramic coils, but I don't like a lot pickups with big bass, like the invader SD, instead I like better pickups with more mids and hights like duncan distortion.

Ps: miracle man are not what I search, they default of grind mids I require for death and black metal.

Thank a lot for anybody who will try to understand what I wrote, and yet i used a dictionary. good night.

Hmm, Ceramic Nailbombs are a good idea - I don't know if anyone actually has those, but you could be the first.

Je pense que le Nailbomb ceramique pourrait être un bon choix, mais vous pourriez vouloir considérer la suggestion de Tim

How's my french? :drink:

Maybe you should wait until Dakine gets here, and see what he thinks of his ceramic Warpigs - whether they would be suitable for what you want.

< does NOT do 'def' metal et all. To be honest if the singer 'growls/shouts' I hit eject/off VERY quickly!
That said, a Ceramic Warpig (better known as a Custom Warpig) is about as insane as any human being (inc. young 1,000,000 mph shouters) could ever hope for.
Sonic Innihilation = Custom Warpig

And is ya mention Duncan here again the Cornish Gods will track thee down and slay thee

TBH, MM sounds more like what ya want. But what do I know.

C'est la vie (and thats enuff French for me, spent WAY too long with Louisiana coonasses to start that again LOL).

 I know you're not into the same kind of music, but you're probably the best to judge what the pickups are capable of - more so than myself at least...

I would recommend my beloved Holy Diver, but that would just be silly :drink:

LOL Ronnie James singing Death Metal, Scary thought. Yeah know pups are'nt JUST named for exact person/tone.
I think he is confoosed.
A Nailbomb is too organic me thinks.
Tim probably said Custom 'Pig as it has the BREWTALLITY but with abit (abit I said) more modern edge. Lets face it, Def Metal is not exactly old skool (well not when an old 36yo bugger like me).
Either a big gain amp with EQ and a MM or Custom 'Pig me rockons.

$%&#gin Hails French Friend.
i´m on the same dillemma. but, at least, i choose my neck pickup. i´ll go with a Trilogy Suite neck.
i have a H-S guitar .
i´m leaning towards the Nailbomb or the painkiller, but since the painkiller pickup will delay a bit more to be released, i guess i´ll go with a nailbomb.
just saving money
Q:)
I can´t help on your quest. sorry.
btw i like Black/Death/Thrash/fusion metal too.

Ceramic Warpig, with slug and screw coils instead of 2 allen bolts, that should bring the bass back into normal terratory? isnt that a good idea? wouldnt know for sure.

Your french is very good, but "je ne pense pas considérer la suggestion de tim" because The warpig isn't the kind of pickup i search, too bassy!

Ok then - maybe James's suggestion might help with that?

If not, then a Nailbomb would probably manage the tones you want

I would think a ceramic Nailbomb would sound like a combination of a Cold sweat and warpig. Lots and lots of mids, but tight and gnarly. But not too gnarly.

But the problem is Nailbombs sound so insanely dynamic even though they have loads of gain. Using ceramics might..well...get rid of that.

I'll try this mixt, and i'll make some sample for you.
If I dislike the tone, i'll take a custom warpig, for sound terrorism!

I invite you to listen Yyrkoon, a french death thrash metal band who has a big succes with french, russian (lol), japaneese headbangers, this is the kind of metal I play, not a cacophony's carnage like canibal corpse, it's a more fingering metal, with some shreddy solos, and a wel balanced tone, like the nail bomb!

This is their first video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kze8vLkqkiE

Drummer is a big friend of mine. see ya!

My memory isn't what it used to be, or so I'm told. But I'm sure I once read that the Cold Sweat is based on a ceramic Nailbomb.....

The Cold Sweat is based on the old Gibson Dirty Fingers. Though it ended up fairly different the Dirty Fingers pickups that John Syskes used were the initial inspiration.
