Listening to a few of the Glassjaw tracks on projectplaylist.com, pretty good actually :) Dont know why I've never listened to them before they have some really good stuff.

Been listening to The Hold Steady a lot lately - mainly Almost Killed Me and Separation Sunday. Wasn't too sure but after a few listens I am starting to like them quite a lot. After listening numerous times I have decided they are a bit of a strange mix of Springsteen and The Pixies.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Spandex, chains, studs, leather caps'n'chaps, perms, highlights... you're right, can't get more manly than that.

Maybe a bit of fur and a sword, Manowar stylee.

if you want viking-battle-metal, look no further than Bathory, fur cod-pieces and excalliber-style swords at the ready.

I've been listening to loads of deep purple recently, in particular Machine Head. It's making me want a strat with single coil pickups

haha that sounds more like torture! We get to put whatever we want on (night shift so the shops closed) so long as it isnt offensive or everyone else hates it! Sadly there are a lot of older people, dont think they'd enjoy listening to the same stuff as us :(
