This evening there's been excessive Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Cursive, some Bright Eyes, Small Brown Bike, Alkaline Trio, At the Drive-In, Fugazi, Hey Mercedes, Gallows, Refused, American Football, Regina Spektor, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, The Postal Service and Cap'n Jazz.
An eclectic mix, I know :/
LOVING the Mules!

good choice on the cap'n jazz & American Football
do you like Hot Club De Paris? Matt from that band used to be in The Down & Outs, and left to start a band with that Kinsella feel.

I think some of the Refused dudes are doing new stuff (not international noise conspiracy).

I've been on Cold World, Breakdown, War Hungry, Stars, Life of Agony, Madball, Robot Whales.

Love, love, LOVE the guitar style and drumming in Hot Club De Paris, but I'm really not sure I can deal with the voice!

cos its scouse?
hahaha.

you know, i love that about that band, and the down & outs, and my band. If you've got an accent, may as well sing with it. there is no need for everybody to pretend to be american or c0ckney. (i know that's not what your saying by the way).

I really hate false or faked accents. I really think people should sing in their own, it far more interesting.

Logan are my least favourite band in the universe for this reason. Every time I hear their nonsense all I can do is scream "For goodness sake, you're fae Pollock!" in my head.

Past tense? They're back. With likelihood of another album, if chat is to be believed.

oo, i knew they reformed for some shows last year, didn't realise it was going as far as new music!  i have faith (no pun intended, really!) that those guys can live up to the hype.  i'll look forward to that :)

yeah my mate saw them over there at download or something, said it was still awesome.
i checked out the recent set list and looks pretty good, good mix of old and new.
be cooler if jim martin was back in the mix, but i think there was never any chance of that happening

i wasnt aware of new album prospects, i thought it was just a quick cash in or something. get mike patton more money for his pr0n collection

Nah, all their best tunes were after Martin left.

I don't know how confident I am that new material will appear, but there's certainly heavy rumours.

King for Day is probably one of my fave FNM records. I always wondered if that was the bad one to be into.
would be interesting if they DID do new stuff. I heard of lot of people saying that the first Tomahawk record was maybe what FNM would sound like if they had carried on, but, i dunno. maybe not.
