Wez, Mrs 38th says get some Arnica to bring the swelling and bruising down. Put on a nice "Best of Bucks Fizz" cd and get lost in the music.
Send three and fourpence we're going to a dance

thank mrs 38th for me will ya!

I also seem to be listening to a lot of 'i told you you should have moved that wood!' and 'i cant believe you still havnt moved that wood!' - its ok though, it would be 100 times worse if it was her toe that was bright purple

Veruca Salt - IV
Exhorder - Slaughter in the Vatican/The Law

(The Exhorder stuff is a bit too unrelentingly heavy for me, TBH - I had to give up half way through the second disc on first listen)
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Recent Listening

Gomez : Bring It On & Out West
Cream : Disreali Gears
Talking Heads : Remain in Light
Orange Goblin : 5 albums (but couldn't tell you their names)
Soft Machine : Bundles (Allan Holdsworth really is a god amongst men)
PiL : Commercial Zone
Pantera : Cowboys from Hell
ZZ Top : Degeullo & Tres Hembres

However I feel I have been listening to the same old things too much, so can somebody make some suggestions to shake things up a bit.

But please not metal as I unlistened to metal on my mp3 player, and I have to be in the mood (which usually involves heading towards some sort of psychotic episode)
Goodbye London !

Johnny, Derek Trucks is brilliant isn't he.Have you heard Songlines? And the Faces-my second favourite band of all time-have you got "Nods"? I have just got Joe Bonamassa's new one-not hear it yet but will tonight.

Yes he is brilliant! I only had my first listen today on the ipod but shall make a note of the one you mentioned to get also!
I don't know what song it was but he just sounded exactly like Jeff Beck, the tone and choice of notes, not an easy thing to do! Then the next thing he playing a jazzy style, incredible stuff!

Not got nods yet either but really like the faces, they're very cool.
