Combination of Venetian Snares and Blood Island Raiders at the moment. Somewhat different to each other....
A-Pig 7s, Miracle Man & Mule, Cold Sweats... Expensive kit and no talent posse.

A combination of my fridge being very loud, cat sqwarking and the snooker.

But I was listening to Cold Cut all day.  Going through a bit of a drum and bass revival at the minute.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Opeth - Watershed    I'm really liking this despite not being a big fan of theirs. The songwriting and production is top-notch, and the new guitarist having a decent vibrato helps as well.

Veil of Maya - The Common Man's Collapse     Not a fan of death growl vocals, but the music itself is some of the best I've heard in ages. Amazingly tight guitar work.

Joe Satriani - Crystal Planet     Haven't listened to Satch in ages, and I'd managed to convince myself I wasn't too keen on his stuff. Listening to it again, I'm really enjoying it as music, not guitar w**kery.

Finished working for the afternoon, so Hot Rat's by Frank Zappa is about to be put on (before the wife comes home from work and tells me to turn it down/off)

I have the 'Peaches en Regalia' coin single from that album.
It is fantastic.
I too use chicken as a measurement.

Currently listening to:
the new Satriani album
Paul Gilbert  - Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar,
The Formation of Damnation by Testament;
and the Buddy Whittington (John Mayall/Bluesbreakers guitarist) solo album.

Whittington gets such an awesome tone from a stupidly simple setup!
Warpigs.

been listening to Bjork this last few days, because i saw her live last night! pretty good show, her vocals are actually better live than on record, and the 12 piece horn section was pretty cool.  not a guitar in sight though  :(

Currently listening to Mercenary while at work, but the albums that are doing it for me at the moment

Meshuggah - Obzen
Pure insanity. Meshuggah at their best.

Ayreon - 01011001
Prog rock genius, great vocalists involved (some of my favourite on the planet involved)

Decrepit Birth - Diminishing Between Worlds
Influenced by Death and Cynic but with their own sound, fantastic Tech/Death band

Iced Earth - Horror Show
Insanely good guitar tone, great album

Currently waiting for the new Pyramaze, new Evergrey (best band ever for me), new Iced Earth, and also whatever else will come out this year to kick me in the face :D
Engl Invader 150
Engl 4x12
TC G Major
Alesis Midiverb
7 string guitars only :D

I couldn't imagine not liking anything Evergrey put out, they have the perfect combination of great vocals, great guitars, great progressive songs, great keyboards, great drums, and now great bass, great amps and 7 strings too :D

Everything I could ever want in a band :D
