Beth Hart - Live in Paradiso. She's great. Raunchy somewhere between Janis Joplin and Melissa Etheridge.

Ellie Goulding - Lights. Really like it actually, her voice is good. Thinking about recording a rocked up version of Starry Eyed but I dunno if that would be totally wrong

Been getting down to some Ray Charles, Alter Bridge and Black Crowes today.
I think I hate being indecisive.

The new The Meads of Asphodel album. Cheerfully titled "The Murder of Jesus The Jew". Previous albums were "The Excommunication of Christ", "Damascus Steel" and "Exhuming the rave of Yeshua".

The last track is the preposterously titled: A canticle for the Lost amputees of Aelia Capitolina who have been trampled under the iron shod hooves of salivating hell rams and impaled on the shimmering tusks of salvation within the abandoned tabernacle of a bronze age myth

Mad Capsule Markets - Cistm Konfliqt. So, so good. Perfect blend of heavy guitars and dirty sounding synths.

Mastodon - Leviathan. It's actually pretty good, I dunno why I never clicked with them before.

Also heard this on the radio yesterday and had it stuck in my head ever since. It's unusual to hear music this "rock" on the radio - Miles Kane - Inhaler

Got the piano score for Beethoven's Pathetique (Sonata in C minor) for my birthday last Friday. Been listening to that a lot and also trying to play it. It's going to take me a while, I think!

I've been getting into a lot of baroque music latley, Henry Purcell, Corelli and J.S Bach in particular wrote some truly inspirational music, love 'didos lament' by purcell, JS Bachs 'Air on the g string' and Corellis 'christmas concerto, seriously if u think mozart was good corelli is very similar, for the time phemoninal. I can't believe I used to be ignorant and dislike baroque and classical etc, now prefer it to most pop and rock
