Try them both at the same time and see if there's any Dark Side/Wizard of Oz style synchronicity!

38th, what do you think of Love? I have only listened to the first few minutes but would beinterested to hear more. Is it a new era in music or just an attempt to cash in on their back catalogue?

I had very mixed feelings about messing around with the original tracks. If we entertain the premise that remixing has become an artform then it brings something to it I guess.Better that George Martin is the man to do it. The whole catalogue is apparently bvbeing worked upon to release in 5.1 surround sound. The first 4 years songs , or thereabouts, were recorded pretty much with destructive overdubs so that'll be interesting. Having listened now a few times_ do like it but would prefer to hear the original tracks restored so tha they come up well on a modern hifi. Overall, it does work and the version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps is lovely. It was taken from an acoustic demo that George did and it is gentle and has George's plaintiff vocal with a new  George Martin string overdub.

Hey Philly Q, I was wondering, do you actually look like your avatar? coz that's what I imagine you look like :) It'd be a shock to find out that you don't...

Yup, that's exactly what I look like.  Topper, cane, the lot.  And I'm so old I'm in black and white.

Not really, but I have no intention of putting up a pic of what I really do look like.  PDT_023

Just out of curiosity, do you know who that picture is, young feller-me-lad?
