Sounds Great! The Mule in the bridge for the Clapton cream era tones and the slowhands for that Strat tone im looking for, but one last question, what pot should I use for this setup, 500k or 250k?

I believe it's 500k for the humbucker and 250k for the single coils.
If you only have one volume knob, I'd go for 500k.

This is always a tricky one-Fender get round it by fitting 2 vols and 1 tone-the humbucker goes to a 500K and the single coils to a 250 or 300K.

Hmm, well Tim, I'll probabally be getting you to do a prewired pickguard for me with a calibrated set when I do purchase this, so whatever you think will be best I guess. Your the professional. :D

I would like to have separate tone controls, 1 for the bridge and 1 for the neck and middle, that probabally wont be possible if we do the 2 volume pots though? Maybe if I did 1 500k and then just rolled off the brightness on the singles with the tone control?

Or go for a 300K as a halfway house.

I must admit, a 500k is better for the humbucker and the mid/neck benefit too-the majority of prewired HSS I do are all 500K vol.

Im thinking 500k would be alright? I think as long as the bucker is good, then I could really just use the tone control to shape up the neck and middle? I'm gonna leave it up to you to decide what would work best, when I make the purchase.

There are plenty of Strat players on the forum. Most use Irish Tours and Apaches. Most of them used to have Duncans in their Strats. I'm sure they'll be happy to tell you how they compare.

Personally, I think you'll find the improvement astonishing. And if you get 'em as a HSS set, they will be calibrated to work together.

I am one of those players!!!! And my opinion is, get rid of those Duncans and grab the BK singles that work best for you!!! After providing a good sound description, Tim will now exactly what you need. You won´t look back...
