bloody nora, I saw Metallica on in Manchester just before he died. For me "Ride the Lightning' was Metallica's peak. I think CB was a major force in the creation of that album. For me it all got lost after "and justice for all". I wonder if CB would have dragged them off into a better, non MTV, direction. I remember the day I felt totally old and past it was when I saw Metallica performing on MTV with Claudia Schiffer in the front row.
