Phil, I'll bring some New Castle with me, it looks as if it will fit in with the in house selection.

Once you taste Sam Smiths old brewery brown you will not drink newcastle again (unless you can't get sam's!).

No preference on the beer.  Selection is top notch.  Lets come up with the list of what each person is going to bring.  I usually go to the supermarket on the weekends and can pick everything up as needed this coming weekend.  On the way home from shopping I could also stop @ the liquor store if interested...lol

Phil, it looks like Mike is going to pick me up on his way through the city, so we should be in good shape re: getting the Splawn to your house. Worst case secnario, can I leave it at your place if I don't get a ride home? (Where it will join the rest of the junk I have at your house? :) )

Caution :!:

Don't bring Newkie Brown! They have rehab centres for casualties of that stuff alone up there! Sounds like a great night!
I might sling me Koch in a dinghy and get paddling! I might make it in time!

I will be going to get some additional refreshments on Friday night.

Ben has asked for more Black Sheep and Dirty Dick's (this sounds like a farmer's dream   ).  I will get some Sam Smiths Oatmeal Stout and some Young's too if they have it.

I don't have much in American beers, just a 6 pack of Miller.  If you want any lager type beers let me know before Friday.

Cheers

Yeah, we're still doing this! Right? Let me know what you need, or what
you want me to bring, or how I can help. And, don't be shy.

Damn TO I think you and Phil have sampled a few beers and know the BK sound all too well; the rest of us want to share your knowledge and have a grand time doing it as well. I will need to get some directions before the 21st so let's make this happen:!:

Hear hear. Newky Brown is dubious stuff. And it makes your face hurt. Sam Smith on the other hand is a great drop. Living in York I've been able to get it for as cheap as £1.15 a pint. Can't go wrong with that really...

TO tells me you've been educating him on the finer points of proper ale Phil. Keep up the good fight :D

Now only if I didn't live so bloody far away...

Hehe ... I didn't even think about the subject of directions!

Okay, Phil -- that's your department!

How does one get to your house?

All I know for sure is that he's on Jefferson St in Hoboken, down the street from a good pizza joint ...

Good point Ben.

The address is 519 Jefferson St, which is about halfway between 6th & 5th (Jefferson is one-way downtown) on the left (the house has white railings outside, and is red brick on the first floor with white siding above).  The tough thing is parking, but if you need to drop off an amp or something, there is a hydrant in front of the house where we can unload.  There is also a parking garage between 9th & 8th on Jefferson, but usually there is street parking on weekends.

The other thing is that you need to use the bell on the basement door (we will be in the basement for noise reasons!), but it is not really below ground, it is about 4 foot below the street level.

Timing wise, I will be there all day, but I think from the sound of things that we are looking at starting around 2-3, and you guys can leave when you want!
