Strat Wiring Kits
« on: October 20, 2006, 03:50:06 PM »
Since I'm buying a new pickguard to accomodate the H/S/S BKP's I figure I may as well pre-wire everything ahead of time and then do the swap-out.

1. I'm looking for a high quality Strat wiring kit, but Google is making me more confused. Can anyone recommend where to buy a good quality kit (CTS grade or better)? Links would be great.

2. VHII/Mother's Milk/Mother's Milk in a MIM Strat, would the optional push/pull pot upgrade benefit this configuration?

3. Based on these PUPs, would anyone recommend a different wiring scheme other than stock for the 5-way switch?

Thanks!

Needing a LEFTY PG with H/S/S cutouts, I need to send a trace in and have a PG custom made. This way I'll be sure that all of the holes line up properly without drilling the body - I can do the assembly myself.

Anyway, I wondered if any of the wiring mods would be worthwhile, such as this one?
