Warpigs In BC Rich NT V
« on: November 30, 2006, 06:35:59 PM »
I just got my BC Rich V and I'm now thinking what pickups I should put in it. Having never used Bare Knuckle's before I was wondering if anyone knew what they'd sound like in my guitar? My styles are death metal, heavy/thrash metal and hardcore (think Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, Hatebreed).

Thanks in advance.

Aye, I've heard that clip before. So you think that's what it'd sound like in a BC Rich? I guess I'll have to make a purchase pretty soon. Also, can you recommend a BKP for the neck which has a robust, warm clean sound? Thanks.

I have a ceramic warpig on it's way to go in the bridge position of my set neck warlock.

I plan on taking some clips with it, before and after the pickup switch. Not sure if you want to wait that long though...

Which stock bc rich pickups does yours have in it?

Great + most popular pickups to pair with the Warpig are:

Cold Sweat
The Mule
Another Warpig

Personally i would go with the Cold Sweat as it is reknown for it's great clean sounds and ability to shred well in highly distorted situations.
Black Dogs

Previous BKP's: Riff Raff, Holy Divers, Painkillers, C. Warpig, Nailbomb, Miracle Man.

Okay guys, thanks a lot for your help. I think I'll be getting a Warpig and possibly a Cold Sweat, but I better give that one a good lookover too first (sound clips, reviews etc).

adamzap: I have the BDSM's in my V. Looking forwards to a nice change in sound with the BKP's ( I'm a tone freak =/ ).
