Just a pic of the VH2's installed on the SG    I love these pickups, they're amazing.    I'll get some clips up soon.

I might get a pair of these for my recently acquired PRS Singlecut SE

First I need to have band rehearsal with the stock PUs, as they aren't so bad after all, but need to test in band context ... guess if they don't cut it, I'll get VHIIs for it ...

These are my new favourites   :D  The sustain is crazy and the tone is killer, I don't want to put the guitar down  Clarity, definition, articulation... love'em  :D

Difficult difficult .... I do have to say, the pickups in the SE Singlecut are damn nice, I had band rehearsal tonight, and although it's quite dark sounding and I had to raise the presence level on my amp, this was a very balanced and nice sound, even cut through well, and lots of bottom too.

I'm floored, coz I bought the SE to put some VHIIs in and now I'm not sure if I even wanna touch it and change anything ...

If you do get VHIIs, I'll be interested to know how well they work in mahogany...

The Yamaha SG is mostly mahogany. The body is mahogany with a maple cap in the center and the neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. The VH2's sound incredible
