I was looking at Tim's Robert Foster Les Paul in the gallery and it looks gorgeous. Does he have his own business? or his he just a friend of Tim's that builds really nice guitars?

I heard he's a violin maker and thats the only guitar he's ever built (or maybe just the only LP), not sure how true that is though.
It's a fantastic guitar though, I played it at the LGS 2005 through Tim's Kelley SD-1 and ZW JCM800 half stack, with the stupidest grin on my face you could imagine  :P
EDIT: How much for a feline copy? 8)
I see a rainbow rising

I had a go through the same set up last year too! It certainly wet my appetite for Tim's pickups!

Yea actually I wouldn't mind seeing some more pics as I was interested in building one similar.  Already building a TV white Gibson Les Paul Junior as a commision for someone, a Jem for me, a neck for a Dinky project to sell, and two semi hollow PRS style guitars that are my own design (similar to my avatar), one Bubinger and looking at making an Oak one as well.

It looks like it has a 24 fret neck, but im not sure.

MMM
Im sorry to be persistant...but I'm on a mission to build the most badass guitar of all time.

The Foster guitar is lovely.....I am in awe of Foster' handiwork
I have played it a few times and it never fails to get me hooked
I love the scallops at the top too....

We could do something with a similar flavour or with your own tweaks and preferences....
Prices would range from £1900-£2400 depending on specs etc

Great fretwork!
