I have just recently put in a bid on a Laney ProTube AOR100 Series II head but im not sure if its going to work out or not since my bid realy isnt that high. Are there any othere options as far as cheap all valve amps that arent total cr@p?Im lookin to spend somewhere from 300 - 450 bucks.

well Ive got a Vj. which I hate since it just sounds like cr@p to my ears. Im looking for a head preferably 50 watt +. I play mostly Sabbath inspirede Heavy Metal with a lot of down-tuning and bluesy leads with a lil shredding here and there. Id like enough gain to make my pinch squeals jump out if ya kno what I mean. Anyways I think IM gonna stick w/ this Laney and borrow the extra money I need from my sisiter until I can sell my Vj. and the DHA for the extra cash.
