Whats the sudden obession with everyone on this website and laney??

Im not knocking laney because i've used the LC30II and LC15R and really liked them both, but it's all anyone ever seems to talk about in here, am i missing something?

this forum seems to go through phases. When i joined everyone has jcm800s, then it went on to ENGLs... Laney's seem to be the next big thing around here :P
Minimats were big at one stage too, lol

Yep there seems to be trends on this forum, more so than others :P I am proud to say I decided on getting one just before they started getting really popular/hyped up, so I dont feel so much of a sheep :)

Its probably because they do a good british tone for cheaper than a good Marshall or Splawn. I still want a Quickrod though ;)

i started wanting a Laney when _tom_ got his, i was considering them because of Opeth, and Philly Q told me that to get the basic tone, i would need the amp first.

I had a Laney klipp  in around  1978 so I started the trend before many of you were born.

the internets been around since the late 50's by university students and it was used as a military communication network.. it's just been flooded with spotty teenagers now..

Laney's are just great amps. I prefer the VH100R over a Dual Rectifier, A 6505, A Mark IV combo, New Marshalls, crate and other things. They're not just great value for money, they're just great. I must I had my VH100R before the Laney phase on this site  :D

Didn't JamesHealy say that the internet was invented around the same time as the original Stratocaster design?
