Miracle man clean clip (updated)
« on: February 12, 2007, 04:35:05 PM »
I feel a bit nervous posting this when the clips you guys do are so awesome, but I just managed to make some pasta without setting anything on fire (I'm 16 and would have ordered a pizza if they were open at lunch time), so I thought, why not? This is a clip of me playing my bridge miracle man, coil split, with the volume rolled down. It's through an ADA MP1 (mod4mkII) on the tube clean setting, and then into the CD in on my Line 6 Spider, then into the mic in my mum's laptop. The quality isn't great, and the solo was the first take, and I can't improvise that well, hence the slightly iffy timing and note choice. It sounds a lot better in real life (it always does for me :P ). Any comments would be great.

edit: I edited the clip slightly, with some reverb on the arpeggios and some compression on the leads. I also fixed some of the bum notes and timing  :)

no one seems to have commented so far! some comments are definately deserved.

i found the melodies in this clip to be very relaxing. shows that miracle man can do at least decent sounding cleans too. this isn't the sort of clean sound i prefer, but it works really well for your clip.

i didn't hear the original clip, but the updated clip has nice playing

Thanks, I found it quite relaxing to play too, I enjoyed the chord bit the most. I was pleased with the sound actually, it's the best sound I've managed to get so far, but I reckon I can make it better with some experimentation

I like the arpeggios at the start, very nice!
The lead came through a bit fizzy on my speakers but maybe it's the high gain of the MM pushing things. Good work.
