Pickups for my Jackson
« on: February 27, 2007, 09:37:34 PM »
Hi
I have a Jackson PS6T Kelly and was wondering what pickups would suit best.
The kinda stuff I often play are bands like:
All Shall Perish
Bury Your Dead
Killwhitneydead
Metallica
Megadeth
Kalmah
Bleed The Sky
The Haunted
Scorpions.

The spec of the guitar is as follows
Alder body. Rock Maple bolt-on neck. Rosewood fingerboard w/ 24 Fret / 25.5" scale / 1 11/16" nut. Jackson J70 neck pickup, Jackson J70 bridge pickup. JT500 double locking tremolo.

A friend of mine has a MM in his Rocket Roll II and has recommended one to me, but I thought I'd get a few opinions before rushing into anything.

Thanks

like i said dan your guitar is a different wood so the miracleman could sound very different in your guitar compared to what it does in mine.

Ill be selling my MM soon anyway because im moving ontoa  more classic rock feel getting a bit sick of metal

so if these guys think itll work well you can have ti cheap

Miracle man is fine for that.

I'd go for a cWP myself, but the MM will get the job done.

Yeah, I've been considering a cWP myself but heard they don't clean up too well. Might get MM of my friend and see how it handles, if I feel I need a bit more, punch to it, I'll try looking into a cWP.
Thanks dude
