Mule - Lil' Devil cover

Tone isnt amazing by itself, a bit thin, but it seems to fit into the mix really well :)

Setup was my usual - Epi LP with Mules (used bridge mule for this) straight into Laney GH50L and I mic'd the G12H with SM57 straight into my soundcard.

^And the answer is, yes you should :) I'm thinking about getting one for my Charvel, but it seems too tame/conservative to put in a shred machine

edit - listening back, I'm not totally pleased with the tone, gonna have to re-do it some time over the weekend otherwise it'll bug me forever

Thanks :) I think you'll love em. At first I wasnt really impressed, but I found that your amp needs to be cranked to get the best out of em, thats when you can hear the difference between stock and high quality pickups

I can't wait to hear them through my JCM900 and Fender Blues Jr.

I crank my Blues Jr. for my blues jams.

I was looking for a PAF style pup for my blues and hard rock. My 500T and 496R sound good but a litlle muddy for what I like.

I really noticed the difference when my bro and I jammed some blues a couple weeks ago. I played my standard with duncans in it and he played my classic. I could definately hear the difference. I plan on replacing the duncans also.
