So I mean, I am German and therefore not really neutral, and then the guys killed it all with Winds of Change and such pop cr@p.

BUT

their old songs like The Zoo, Blackout etc. or even the older ballads - to me this is still top stuff.

Any love/hate for them? I think they'll be on reunion tour soon ...

Scorpions fan here!!  :D  I even like "Wind of Change"!

They were awesome up to Love At First Sting, then they've become more patchy ever since, but I keep buying the albums.  I think it was a mistake to stop working with Dieter Dierks.  Still, at least the last album was better than Eye II Eye.

Between Lovedrive and World Wide Live they had five perfect hard rock albums.  Everyone should own them!  But for some reason my personal favourite is Fly To The Rainbow.  I just love the songs and Ulrich Roth's guitar work.

And yes, they were fantastic supporting Priest.  But I think they only played two post-'84 songs!
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

love em..I was just starting to drive my parents nuts with my Yamaha/Marshall 12 watt when I got into them..."No One Like You" still gets to me...broke up with a girl because she thought I was immature because I had a live cassette of the Scorps...took her home and played "Blackout" as loud as she would go and I drove real fast!

Can't say a bad words about the scorps: Great songs; GREAT tone. They have a really nice raw, yet uncluttered sound.
LOVING the Mules!

I'm confused...
It says it's a 3 CD set, but it lists tracks for 6 discs. :?

It's a mistake. CD4 is the same as 1, 5 the same as 2 etc.

It's a 3CD box set and it's great. It contains all of the hits I loved when I was 12 and listened to World Wide Live.

I gotta go and play Coast to Coast now, love it!

When I have my Miracle Man I will crank the Bogner and record a Coast to Coast on steroids version for you guys ... in case you mind
