It really is gorgeous isn't it. The only potential downside I can see is that it's bound to cost a freaking fortune.

And that it's so enormous I very much doubt my arm's long enough to reach the six-string neck.  :?

well, greco double neck on japanguitar: £850
add 50% for a new guitar= £1300
double for the gibson headstock= £2600
a grand for Jimmys signature= £3600
£900 for the certificate of authenticity (its a limited run you know!)= £4500
and lets make it a nice round £5000
so not much, Only 6 times the price of a model of comparative specs and quality from a brand with a smaller advertising budget.
Feline Custom, Fender MIJ mustang bass
Orange rocker 30
VHII and Mississippi queen

If Gibson would pay half as much attention to making guitars that don't suck as it does to "Commemorative Limited Edition Burger King Tribute Models" with a special Burger King paint and a gold crown embedded in the headstock, we would not be hearing nearly as much about Gibson's well-documented problems with QC.

And then there are those words that make the hearts of well-heeled collectors sing: "A++ Flame Top!"  Yeah, it's wired wrong and has fet sprout like there's no tomorrow, but since it's going to hang on a wall, who cares?

I suppose I shouldn't blame Gibson - Gibson as a company exists to make money and making pointless guitars is where the money is right now.  Same goes for Fender.

This whole limited aged thing is getting ridiculous. The new thinking seems to be why build 250 guitars and sell them for $1000 each when you can build 25 and sell them for $10000 and make the same money.
