LGS on the Sat - anyone going?

Right, the friend I was going to stay with is out of town that weekend.  Bugger.  Might have to get a hotel instead.

Is anyone staying over on the Sat night anywhere?  I was planning on crashing at the Ibis on Docklands for £60...

Travelodge in City Airport has £26 rooms. Davey, Ben and I are in there, but we're going to the British Steel Fest on Saturday Night.
So many pickups, so little time

Cheers Phil.

Looks like I won't be going to LGS after all.  I was going so I could try out a VOS Gibson SG somewhere but after contacting Peter Cooks, Gibson Europe etc no-one can confirm they'll have one at the show.  Not even Gibson  :(

I dont even think that Gibson's distributor : Rosetti  will be at the show although Gibson Europe are supposed to be there

So that means no official stand for BC Rich or Rickenbacker

I dont think that even Fender will be there

A lost opportunity and very short sighted in some ways

Yep, no Rosetti just the Gibson Europe bus.  And they can't tell me what guitars will be on it as "they vary".  Very useful

jonathan, do you have to report, or otherwise tell the venue, which guitars you will have on your stand, for security reasons?
