Hi Guys,
   I am new here..
Looking for new pickups for my 7 String.
 i play experimental /instrumental rock
the 7 string's are basswood with edge trems.
 any suggestions?

i think i am leaning towards nailbomb.. and perhaps a coldsweat in the neck unless somebody has a better suggestion for a neck PU.

I'm fairly sure that the entire range of BKP humbuckers are available in 7-string, although not with covers.

Couldn't listen to your clips on myspace at any volume (at work :)) but my first thought was Nailbomb bridge with Cold Sweat neck?

Good choice.


That's the same set Chris Broderick uses  and gets some pretty good sounds out of it. ;) Plus Nailbombs are very popular for people who want theit basswood guitars to "come alive". They seem to add a lot of dynamics and harmonics to basswood.
