BUT! it seems to me like a race horse only being allowed to run like 10 metres then stopped.... i'm sure you'll get what i mean, i think your riffs are too short or something, feels like it needs to break out into something awesome

yeah i get what you mean...that isnt actually the whole song i just cant be arsed programming the rest of the drums just yet

it actually goes into a testament style riff from where it ends which breaks down into a clean part with a slow friedman style solo over it, think corazon de santiago
