^ yeah. i liked the darkness, though. not as good as the 80's bands or queen (by a longshot), but closer than guys like wolfmother or jet were to the 70's guys, in my opinion.

I personally like the darkness & wolfmother, but I don't think there anywhere nears as good as their predecessors, but I enjoy them all the same & at the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about?

is it just me or does this justin hawkins try to show off his voice way too much? i think he has a great voice, but tries to squeal his head off way too much. If he just sang normally and hit the high notes WHEN NECESSARY...
other than that, i think they're a very good band. I appreaciate them more for the guitar playing. as for the second album, listen to bald if you get a chance. very good song in my opinion.

and as for wolfmother, although i don't think they're all that great, i appreciate a band trying to bring back some good music. nowadays all i hear on the radio is a bunch of power chordy cr@p that all sounds EXACTLY the same. they're like a mix of sabbath and kravitz.

I think Justins ego must have taken over, but then again without that ego, they probably would never have gotten the recording contract in the 1st place.

I quite like Wolfmother (cept for the singing), theres nothing wrong with some music thats a bit primal, meakes me feel good and lowers my IQ less than 80 for a while (though it dosn't have that far to go I suppose)

Just don't take it seriously
