hmm scratch that idea then, I guess crawlers will have to wait for a different guitar, whenever I can get my hands on one.. maybe my strat even? I might actually start using it again then but I kinda want that classic strat clean tone aswell...  :?

Crawlers sound great in Strats, Geoff Whitehorn has one in his HSS strat, it gives it the balls that strats seem to lack, and it cleans up really well too!

ooh right sounds like a plan. Which S/C neck and middle would you recommend that go well with a Crawler bridge then? How much will a "custom" scratchplate wiring end up costing me?

cheers!

Geoff had Mothersmilk singles back in November last year when I played said strat  at Music Live. They work really well together, especially the splits!

Yep, the mothersmilk singles sound very nice with the crawler.

ooh ok! Will the power match up though because they dont seem to be very high output compared to the crawler..

Theres no problem with the power issue, each single is a bit weaker than the crawler with a coil spilt so they mach up quite well.
