Hails Guys.. i just got my Sinner neck custom wound by tim . in replacement of the Trilogy suite neck i didn´t like enough

I think i didn´t pay enough attention to the NECK character n ALL bkp pickups
i friend of mine, from brazil, erick hellstyel a meber here on the forum,just told me that the neck pickups on the (he told me but anotehr person told me that to)BKP doesn´t sound with that "WWHOOOMP" Character i´m used with other pickups(not sure how to explain this in english) so, its not that i didn´t like the Trilogy suite, i loved the tone, but it didn´t have that "whoomp" to it,maybe the sinner will have a little bit more. maybe not.anyway, i´ll keep it .

You are still 'On 11' though!

Plus I just remembered after I clicked send that my trilogies are on a 4-pole 5-way and the 2nd position is the neck and the middle in series, stock, not rprw. Thats a ~30k neck/middle single coil right there. Shreddy goodness :twisted: So I cant talk, really :oops:

I know what you mean, I've found the same thing with my neck Trilogy Suite. Its not big or smooth enough to compete with the bridge Rebel Yell for me.

I'm actually trying out my old Dimarzio Chopper in its place today or tomorrow, to see how that sounds :oops:

I find the trills to be monsterous.

I have uber-trills though. But they're only overwound by a couple of kO.

They ballance just fine with my 23k miracle man, 'The Blackening'.

How close are yours to the strings? I still need to get round to trying daveys method of shimming the neck pickup route so I can get it higher, mine is about 1cm away from the strings which might explain why it doesnt balance so well?

I dunno, my guitar isnt to hand. I'll check when I get in. Its definatley a lot closer than 1 cm though, more like 4mm. And that makes a huge difference, and moreso with the sensitivity of BKs.

i dont´knwo why but when i look to mdv avatar, i always see SPAWN.

well, i just installed it
but now i´m trying to Fix a problem with teh charvel floyd rose.
i just pulled off all the strings and the bridge itself.
the saddles aren´t staying in their places nor the intonation.
I´ll clean the entire bridge with OIL.
and then... AH, the little blocks that holds the strings aren´t moving properly and they are holding the strings more than necessary.
