Is that Painkiller V going for sale?

Yes - up for sale (about £1500)
features 2 new painkillers with double row of slug polepieces under a black no -holes cover
Scratchplate is bronze smoke mirror, as is the trusss rod cover
Machineheads are sperzel
Jack socket is on inside of the top fin like on a Jackson RR or King V
No more tripping over leads!

Sounds awesome through a Marshall - really tough sounding
Those painkillers are great

This time next year I'm finally done this degree... I'll be coming to see you

OK
Just done a couple of pix of the turquoise Korina Lion
Currently loaded with BKP Rebel yells but am tempted to seek something with a warmer top end as the guitar can be a little bright due to the super hard ebony fingerboard (seriously it was like steel to work with - so damn hard)
Maybe some Mules or VH2s
Hope you like....

Well been experimenting with pickups in the Korina Lion
Took out the Rebel Yells and popped a set of VH2s in there
2 pleasant surprises!!
1) The tone is less bright and is now a lot more versatile
2) the VH2s were zebra coil ones , and the guitar looks even better with that combination (as if this guitar could get any better)

Here she is - i like the way the cream coil tones in with the ivory binding
The abalone topped knobs look nice too!

That guitar is pure sex!

How did you come up with that neck joint? It's very original and not like any that i have ever seen!

I played that futhamucker with RY's and it was, I'd love to play it with VHII's.  In fact, if I wasn't going to put an order in for a Vee on payday(expect a phone call and some money on the 25th Mr Law) , I'd buy that!

You are quite correct there Mr Ninja
The Aria PE was years ahead in a lot of ways
I have fond memories of some of that series
It's one of the reasons that I recommend it to players looking for a Les paul copy on a budget

And it's neck joint certainly inspired my design ideas for my own versions
