The miracle man has jumped over to les paul as the ibanez is now up for sale and i believe i have a buyer for it....only sunday will tell.

not sure how it sounds yet as it was late when i finished the change over

for some reason i had to file away the side of the cavity in the agile and take the back side off the pickup ring as the cavity and ring were too small for the MM

:S

oh well will post clips tomorrow,.

right got home and started playing found ti to sound really really weak

i then raised the pickup up closer to the strings and it sounds so much fuller than it did in the rocket roll.

and its just so much more aggressive.

The only thing that annoyed me is before i spent ages tweaking to get tones close as possible to the ones used on rtl

now that its in the mahogany LP its so easy and i just dont like them now so when the dsl50 arrives on goes the hunt for the perfect tone,

les paul > any guitar

i just bought another one today
it's a handcrafted les paul standard in 1 piece brazilian mahogany back, imbuya top, mahogany set neck, dark brazilian rosewood, real mother of pearl trapezoid inlays
and it was REALLY cheap (used)   :D
about 1/3 of an epiphone lp standard, but it's without any finishes and no hardware installed (only pots and knobs)

i'm thinking of a miracle man set for her
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat

I've ordered a miracle man for my Gibson LP standard bridge
I'm getting it installed by a shop
will they set it up the best way? (as you said you needed to adjust it before it sounded good)
or should i suggest something?

its all personal preference changing pickup height is no hassle at all just mess about with it until you find the balance that is right for you

i have mine about 3mm away from the strings on the bass end and 2mm on the treble end.

how much are the shop charging?

damn that is one nice guitar.

looks a bit strange without an actual logo on the top end.

just buy a gibson decal off ebay  :)

cant wait to see it finished

oh yeah and if you ever decide to sell it let me know.

thanks, man
i don't know if i will put a gibson logo, cause i don't like this kind of illusion
someday i'll have an original les paul, but i only want a custom
i just didn't like the truss rod cover cause it's too high and too thick (5 ply)
i'll probably pay for a lacquer finish only to make it shine a little bit
the satin headstock and faded mahogany back looks a little lifeless
the imbuya top is beautiful, a lot more than it looks in the pictures  :D
but i don't have money at the moment and i need to buy a nice ABR gotoh bridge and tailpiece, some tuning pegs and then i'll need another fortune to buy a miraculous set of bare knuckles

so... i already have a les paul with holy diver and cold sweat, which sound perfect
what should i put on this? miracle man, alnico miracle man, maybe a warpig? i'm curious about alnico miracle man, but no one seems to have one  :?
