Hey I'm new here
Just wondered what you guys thought of RAN guitars?
They're a custom shop based in Poland and the luthier's supposed to be excellent
whats more, the prices seem really cheap
I got quoted £1245 for a full custom spec Jackson KV2 style guitar (I got quoted by the ESP site for the same guitar about $5000!)

Just wondered if any of you had any experience with this company?
The guy from annhialator uses them to name one big band

Heres a pic that I made of the guitar I got quoted on...

Yeah Jeff Waters from Annihilator uses them!

I have to say their stuff looks immense in the gallery, you should definatley go there instead of ESP, they will probably do a better job anyways
Black Dogs

Previous BKP's: Riff Raff, Holy Divers, Painkillers, C. Warpig, Nailbomb, Miracle Man.

To put it simply- brilliant :)

I got my custom through in November, and it is incredible!
They are really helpful, the prices were even better when i first ordered mine (cost less than £900 when i ordered in February last year!!) And as has been said before, the workmanship is perfect.

More pictures (including hi-res shots)

Mine now has a Nailbomb in the bridge, rock and roll :)
Nailbomb, VHII, Warpig 7, MQ, Black Dog, 10th Anniversary

Wow thats good value
as I said i got quoted about £2250
but then again i'm presuming that Vs are more expensive and i want active pickups and a floyd rose so thats gonna cost more
ooh and my initials at the 12th fret lol
thanks for the little review!

Lots of guitars have 27 frets, it's kinda like having an extra 3 frets.

Being able to bend to 29 is pretty cool :D

whilst its cool having all the extra frets it doesnt half make the guitar look cr@p due to neck pickup placement.

lol
As someone said earlier though it does look a lil wierd with the neck pickup so close to the bridge PU
I suppose its only for pure shredders  :D

the extra fretboard also means that there will be less tonal difference between the neck and bridge pickups so its worth taking that into account when choosing pickups
