Mules Calibrated set with Ebow Clean sound clip

Using a Nelsonic Les Paul Atomic Series guitar with a set of Calibrated covered mules played clean going thru my THD Univalve loaded with Groove tubes direct out to my Delta 1010 interface an into my computer using Samplitude 8 to record it. Two Tracks.
The cool cello like tones are created using an Ebow (www.ebow.com)
I used all pickup settings so you can hear the different tones these pickups offer. This is my first post so bare with me. Pardon the pun.

Wow this sounds great, really nice tone :D You cant beat a set of Mules!

I've been thinking about getting an E-bow for doing this kinda stuff, do they take long to get used to?

Hello Tom and thanks for your comment/question.
I don't really know how to respond on this forum so I will try a couple of different ways and see what happens.
The Ebow are great tools to create a wild and assorted combination of tones however they are fairly limited in their application as you can only use it on one string at a time... they also don't work well with every pickup.. fortunately they work very well with the Bare Knuckle pickups that I have tried.  with that being said they are certainly worth exploring. They are not that hard to use and realistically within a few days you will be getting some pretty cool sounds out of it.
So yes by all means check them out as I think you wiill appreciate owning one. I wouldn't be without one.

how well woulda mule pair with a miracle man in a LP?

Thanks for your response. In answer to your question I just sold a PRS McCarty that had a Warpig in the neck and a Miracle man in the bridge. As you can tell I am not a metal player so niether one of those pickups worked for my musical tastes as I found them to dark and murky with too much bass response. Many people like them but I prefer the cleaner  Bare Knuckle pickups like the Mules, Stormy Mondays, Crawler, VII. The Stormy Monday's are even a little brighter than the Mules which I prefer so I am selling this set as I just purchased a set of the Stormy Mondays so if anyone wants them let me know.
So if you need that thick tone then yes I think keeping the MM in the bridge and adding a Mule to the neck might be perfect for you. When you need the thick metal tone the MM would deliver and when you want a sweet clean tone the Mule would give you that as well. My only concern would be when you mix the too pickups together I think the MM would saturate the Mules tone. So unless you had separate volume controls for each pickup to bring down the MM in the mix it might not work so well. But if you are going to be using each one on it's own for different applications it would for sure cover both spectrums of sound in one guitar.

Hello and thanks for your interest in my pickups,
Since they are a calibrated set I think they should be sold together. You can buy one Mule pickup from them directly for 99 pounds plus shipping. Now depending on which country you are in the cost if you are in the US would be about $220 US with shipping for one pickup.
I would be willing to let you have both pickups in the box like new for $250 US shipping included. So for an extra $30 over the cost of one new one you could have them both. I won't split them up but if you buy them that would be your choice. If you buy mine  you could sell one for $125 and get the one you want for only $125 which is almost half price. If you are not in a position to put out that kind of cash I can understand that. If you have something to trade... other pickups etc. Let me know as I am always open to trades as well.
