i found these on the megadeth forum and they made me chuckle so i thought id share

if you havent guessed this thread started out about why kirk wears tape on his hands which then lead onto the subject of excessive wah usage then the bus thing came into somehow

the first one says

when kirk is lashing out the action he doestn want to get torn away

its referring to the medical tape he wears to stop his hands getting cut because of his skin condition

it goes aroudn his entire hand because he has a skin condition where his skin breaks and blisters easily so he puts the tape on there to stop this from happening,.

Joe Strummer (out of the Clash for you youngsters), had to have his right hand covered in tape as he tended to shred his hand on the strings and bridge once he started to get excited on stage.
