if i was stuck on a desert island with only 5 albums i couldnt take any as i would already be on said desert island with the 5 albums as you stated.

but if i THOUGHT i was gonna get stranded id take

Metallica - ride the lightning
Megadeth - countdown to extinction
Evile - Hell Demo-
Testament - first strike deadly
Exodus - Exodus

Those are some fine choices. I think I'd probably take Bonded By Blood for the Exodus though. And make a coupla other changes, keeping lots of thrash though.

I would take the Evile, but it's a bit short with only 5 tracks. Maybe when their album comes out.

Final list would probably be

Exodus - Bonded by Blood
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Sodom - Agent Orange
Dream Theater - Images and Words
Rush - 2112

yep evile are class.

i notice you have a moser too.

There gigs do my head in though as i still dont drive yet so always have to leave like 3rd song in to get bus home.

still not seena  full set yet

If i was on a desert island i don't think i would have access to a cd player  :P

What kind of lame-o desert island to you plan to get stuck on!?

Anyway, 5, huh?  OK, today, the list would be:

Jan Sibelius, Kullervo Op.7, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra cond. by Paavo Berglund, 1985 recording.
The Grateful Dead, Europe '72.
Hawkwind, Space Ritual.
The Beatles, Revolver.
Jethro Tull, Benefit.

Aren't we supposed to normally get 8 discs on the proper Desert Island Discs show, though? :)  If so, today I'd add:

Bruce Dickinson, The Chemical Wedding.
Blue Öyster Cult, Imaginos.
Carlos Vives, La Tierra del Olvido (I trust I'm on a tropical desert island, properly equipped with umbrella drinks! 8))

excellent, you've just discovered a button on the cd section of your suitcase/backpack/whatever that makes the pocket larger on the inside than the outside, tardis style. It can now hold 8 cds! chuck 3 more in then.
Ill take are you experienced, dark side of the moon, and paranoid
Feline Custom, Fender MIJ mustang bass
