Ibanez RG 4EX

Hi guys, I just bought a brand new Ibanez rg4ex w/trem.  I know I am going to bk it out. It has INF3 in neck , InF3s in middle, And INF 4 in bridge.  I htink I like their hotness, but they need some clearing up,  Ie. notes kinda run together when slamming distorted chords.  
   I was wondering if  . ( 1)  anyone knows offhand the resistance/hotness of the aforementioned pups so I can match the hotness with Bks, and (2)  Any RG users with BKs   give me a shout, and (3)what would you recommend for Progressive shred(Dream theater)   with occasional forays into Dimartini  Jake E. Lee,  and   I really like the neck solo sound on the new Drover solos on the new Megadeth album.
I'm at least pretty sure I want a trilogy for the single coil in the middle.   Thanks, in advance.  It's a basswood body with a little bit of weight for basswood.  It's real bright.... too bright.

1) I have no idea how hot the infinity pups are but I'd love to find out as I've just replaced INF 1 & 2 in my guitar so I am curious.  I went with Cold Sweats, which sound a bit hotter than the stock pups and they're at the lighter end of contemporary BKPs.  If you're looking at Trilogy Suite for the middle pup then I'd say you are inevitably going hotter than stock.

2) Clearly I am an RG user with BKPs. As I said, I went with Cold Sweats but that was driven by the wood in my guitar, which is mahogany so may not suit yours as well. If your guitar is very bright then I'd say go with something that is Alnico 5 driven to warm up the sound a bit and possibly use covered pups instead of open coiled as that will slightly warm the tone as well.

3) The crunch question! I'd say that either Holy Diver or Nailbomb would suit your setup very well. The Holy diver is extremely well thought of here and seems to be very versatile, with plenty of power to match the Trilogy Suite in the middle. Much the same could be said of the Nailbomb in fact and both would serve you very well but for my money I think I'd choose Nailbomb marginally ahead of the Holy Diver. Why? Simply because of a comment Tim made when I was choosing mine. I wanted a warm tone yet needed a ceramic magnet to cut through the mahogany so Tim said that the plain enamal wire would help to warm up the tone. I think the Nailbomb's combination of Alnico V magnet and plain enamal wire will overcome the inherent brightness you say is a characteristic of your guitar. For the neck position I just can't see past a Cold Sweat. The neck version is Alnico V, unlike the bridge version of the pup and mine came in with a DC resistance of 8.3. It will match the other pups beautifully and give you a lovely, creamy shred tone.

man, that does help alot.  I am thinking exactly the same thing with the nailbomb for bridge and coldsweat for the neck.  I was considering a  Holy diver as second as well.   I haven't heard enough clips, though.   Yor reply has definitely confirmed what I had in my head.  As a matter of fact, if you look at my signature quote, I still have that Nailbomb... just waiting.   What am I waiting for?    NB ,Trilogy ,and CS it will be.  Thanks, bro, but I still would like to hear from some more RG/BK holders.    Keep it coming.   Lifted
