Why are they slanted forward?

To make rthe bass notes a bit more bass heavy and the treble ones a bit more trebly (opposite to what Jake E Lee did)

Black pickups on a white pickguard always looks good.

I don't understand why you'd have it that way? Surely its one extreme to another?

Extra bassy one end, extra trebly another.

Nice guitar though.

Couldnt you say the same for slanted Jake E Lee style pickups though? I would've thought itd balance well like that..

Nope because it tightens it all up ;) the bottom of the pickup doesnt move, it just pivots backwards for the lower strings.

I`ve never seen two slanted forward like this. Just curious.

it makes more difference to the bridge pickup if its slanted than it does the neck pickup - but aesthetically it makes sense to slant them both.

Nice buy Brow! I love the colour too, I've always wanted a Strat in Vintage White.

Thanks for the new posts :)

When I get around to taking the Hot Rails out, I'm going to have a word with Tim about aging a pair of Cream covered Slow Hands for me so that they match the guitar :D
