Here is the gear me and my wife own. My wifes been playing about 3 months, me about 2 (despite previous claim of 6 weeks, time flies) :D

My guitar: Tokai (japanese made) Les Paul (awaiting Nailbombs for this, hint Tim)

I bought this Tokai (Jap) 120 for my wife, but she doesn't play it since she got her tele's, so I play it more than her now.

My wife's favourite (Fender 1952 re-issue, only 100 made of these) until...

she put piledrivers in this... Now its a close call.

I recently bought this Pevey ValveKing 112 coz I wanted a valve amp, and it seemed good for the price, and I like it a lot. Thats a big muff on top.

My wife got this coz it looked like fun, and indeed it is...

We use Planet Waves circuit breakers for leads.

All 4 of your guitars are gorgeous!

The valve king is also a very nice amp for the money and the ME-50 while not being the best quality soundwise, is indeed a HELL of alot of fun - So much so that I bought one myself :D

Yeah well, Strings Direct give a good discount if you buy 72 or more, and we've got 2 cats who love to chase things under the sofa, TV, fish tank, anywhere inaccessable :)

Ah, we're not quite at the 'playing together' stage yet, she's a lot better than me for a start, and we've got different tutors so we are learning different things, but I'm looking forward to being able to play (guitar) with her :)

wow, that's some nice gear for only being playing for a few months. I think you have more plectrums than i've gathered up in 7 years of playing, lol. I don't have a cat to eat mine, though i do have some very crafty pieces of carpet.

Well spotted!
I see a rainbow rising
Look there on the horizon
And I'm coming home
