I've got a standard Peavey Wolfgang and I'm pretty happy with the pickups in it.  In terms of balance and distribution of lows/mids/treb it's perfect for my tastes.

However, i do find them a little lifeless; the neck pickup especially is really toneless.

Just wondering what the nearest equivalent BK pickup would be.

Obviously I don't try to make lifeless sounding pickups but in terms of output you're looking at Nailbombs or Holydivers.................for a more opened out tone check out Rebel Yells too.

Funny coincidence that;

I actually have two wolfies a standard (with the normal ceramic peavey pickups) and a custom built one - that I'm in the middle of spraying.

I have rebel yells in my black Epiphone les paul - but I'm going to sell that raise money for either a les paul custom or a feline build - so instictively I was just going to put the Rebel yells in the second wolfie when it was finished.

Only problem is the wolfie is black and yellow and the Rebel yells are purple and black!
