Hi! Old friend of Hategrowth, new member...
« on: June 25, 2007, 02:48:59 AM »
Dear Bareknuckle Forum, my real name is Matt O'Connor, and I've been online friends with Tony of Hategrowth in Leeds for almost 6 years.  I even sent him a nice Agile 2500 Les Paul Black Beauty copy for christmas, which he put his Miracle Man in, and boy it's never sounded better!  Now I'd try to post a link or two of all my ametureish work with lesser equipment, including that guitatr as stock, but the rules on that seem a bit strict here, so if curious please send a pm and I'll gladly send it all to you.  I currently have an ltd Explorer copy with stock emg's, which aren't bad.  My goal is to put a miracle man in the bridge, and a coldsweat in the bridge, but that's way off, since great things don't come cheap.  I may upgrade the emg's to 18 volts temporarily as an apetizer in the next couple of months or so.  Anyway, Tony was very clear what a nice place this is, so I'm glad to say hello, and hope I get to make alot of new musical friends here.  Well that's enough for now, keep up the good work.

Matt you can post your music as you like on here you just cant upload non BK clips to this site but you can link from elsewhere if you post them.

If you need anywhere to host clips let me know.

The mods on here are really good, (unlike on the metallica board) so if you have any queries just PM them Twilight oddysey is especially helpful and has helped me out a fair bit since i joined here.

Hope you find this place helpful and can finally get enough to get your own set of BK's hey i will even pay half for you seen as though you kindly gave me the agile.

Thanks alot everyone, especialy the few Americans that showed up!  I thought I'd be alone!!!  I'm not sure the word about these has spread enough, I'm working on it though, that pickups I mean.

Anyway, here's all the sites, all of 'em, so that way I won't have to have them as a siggy or be a bother with them like a commercial:  http://www.myspace.com/sloppymatt

main friends, http://www.myspace.com/mattoconnor7

Los Angeles City College self produced experiments and one Boston digital studio thing, She Forgot, http://www.purevolume.com/slop

One other Boston thing, Yuletide Lament (downtown LA crimbo song)  and my best two in terms of sound, so produced by the Sashing Pumpkin's technical advisor, mixmaster Jeff Moleski on 2 inch!  I used a Schecter A1+ on that with Bill Laurences in it through his old Marshall Plexi head, not bad.  Too bad a misunderstanding at Hollywood Rehearsal nicked that one.  The LACC stuff was all done with the ltd through a Roland Micro Cube, my trusty gutterpunk ally for almost 4 years now and still running like brand new, even though it fell on some ice a few times back in Masachusets' hard winter.

Alright, that's enough from me I'm sure, what a nice bunch of folks here, as Ireland's Exit 4 would say, "Great stuff!"
