I really want to let rip on this new amp but it's not going to happen cos of badfinger :(

I knocked this South Of Heaven Slayer clip up though. I miked the cab up 6 inches from the centre. Used ultra low damping on the ultra gain channel set on 7. I can't capture the full tone of this amp as I'm new to home recording and I need to read up on it.

It does it brilliantly, I've been try to record a zepplin clip but badfinger won't let me bend so I'll have to wait until it's good finger again :roll:

Correct Me If I´m Wrong but.. your amp looks like a mix between marshall and Soldano Right?
i like dit, ahahahahah but you must know how to tweak it propperly

Well i suppose it could! It's black and chrome. With lots of knobs but not so you get bogged down with loads of electrical engineers microswitch options like some amps I've tried. It has 3 toggles. 1 for bright on clean (you won't need that one JP!) 2 Mid shifts for gain and ultra gain. The usual EQ's, accutronics spring reverb, presence and master volume for rhythm and solo. Plus a foot switch for 3 channels, reverb and solo boost. Nice and straight foward and the controls respond well to small ajustments. 8)

very good options
the zakk wylde get a LITTLE Muddy, just a little, but i think it´s the way you played the notes + too much EQ No?
but i digged the distortion
very punchy, bright(Without being harsh, but again, tweak it better) middy, and muscular(not mesa boogie style) Bass!
perfect for thrash metal. if you tweak more, and found a DEATH METAL tone liek DECAPITATED-NIHILITY, drop me a line and send me clip. Hahahahahah

I do whack the eq up a bit. Is it best to back things of for the really distorted stuff?
