Humbucker set for Alder Guitar?

Hi,

First off, I feel I should say that I have heard lots of wonderful things about your pickups, and im looking forward to trying out a set in my latest warmoth guitar :)

The guitar im putting together is an Alder strat body with a Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.  It will also have a recessed floyd rose.

For this guitar I am looking for it to be able to handle 90's metal (think metallica and pantera I guess) stuff, but I also would like it to be able to handle joe satriani tunes as well, but by no means will this be a steve vai style shred guitar :)  I would also like it to be able to do a good classic rock sorta sound, although that is not a big priorety.

After having a look, I am interested in the Warpig set (I love the covers!), but with its emphasis on bass (going from the description) im worried it wont be all that suitable?  but on the flipside, the nailbomb looked good, but im worried it will be a bit too treble orientated for a alder/maple guitar?

For this guitar I would rather not have open coils or chrome/gold pickup covers though... I would really like the warpig style or the nailbomb or just all black (if thats even possible).

Can someone throw me a line here? :)

Nailbomb for huge organic tone, Miracle Man for tight focused tone with smoother mids. For all out shred, the Warpig takes some beating.

So the nailbomb isn't too peircing in your RG?  It would be made of basswood correct?

You dont happen to have an pics of that would you?  Id be happy to throw a Warpig set into my guitar (it has a Koa top), but im not 100% sure that the nailbomb will suit as well...

Does anyone know what covers are available for which models? Are their full black covers for the miracle man? Or perhaps a Warpig style cover for the Miracle Man?

So many options :)  It seems like its between the Warpig, Nailbomb and Miracle Man sets though...

I've played HJM's RG and it's very balanced indeed-not trebley in the least although it is very clear.
Re: covers, we do nickel, gold, chrome, black and then we do the custom camo as featured on the Nialbomb. The Warpig, because of it's design with twin sets of allen bolts, requires as special cover. As a rule we always 'pig' these up but if you catch us before a batch is done then it's possible to have plain nickel. The other option is open coils.

Any of the 3 pickups you like will sound good in your guitar. I fitted a Miracle Man set to a customers Iceman on Friday night-awesome 8) !

Sorry to be a pain, but in light of that, I dont suppose its possible to get the Nailbomb in the Warpig's style is it? :)

If by that you mean with twin allen bolts-we can but the tone will be quite different.
Twin screw coils bring up the bottom end alot and the NB has alot already.
