The Splawn not doing it for you any more ?

Does the Hurricane have enough gain for you ?

Splawn is a mighty amp and has a great tone little too "hard rock" for me.. my tastes are just becoming more refined to smoother darker tones hence the Hurricane.. It does honestly lack a smidgen of gain but driven to hell and back and cranked it sounds astoundingly meaty!!

Could chew on it's face!

Another person with a new Cornford then, nice! I just bought an MK50H and a 2x12 cab.

So, not hiding it then?

This beast is amazing, it's the best tone i've ever heard.

It still makes me want vanilla ice cream, just looking at it. weeeeird.

I used to have one and regret selling it, I reckon it would sound good with an TS808 or similar in front.

Have you ever tried the Hellcat, I would love to know how the 2 compare.

Good luck with it, 1x12 combos are cool

Luckily my other half supported my purchase too, even though it is bigger than my last amp. I was having doubts about spending that much cash when, but she said "how would you feel if you wlaked out of the shop without it?" to which I replied "pretty depressed" so she said "well just buy it then!" I suppose it wasn't like I hadn't saved the cash

Muso it just nails the mid 80s shred stuff so well.. Sounds like Lynch to me a lot!.. Bit of a one trick pony, but what a trick eh? although it's plexi tones are incredible aswell and it cleans up fantastic.

Just the Cornford is such a sweet amp.
