Cheap P90 Guitar?

Hey guys!

I've got a Les Paul and I love her to pieces but the hooligan in me wants something lighter and cheaper so I can throw it around a bit at gigs. I play grunge/hard rock and I've never owned a guitar with a P90 in it, but from what I've heard it'd suit my music perfectly (and I can always chuck a hotter BKP in there ;) )

Any of you know a cheap/decent P90 equipped guitar I could have a bash at? One or two pickup doesn't matter as it'll probably only be on the bridge setting anyway. Looking for preferably less than £300.

I wouldn't say rubbish, but I'd sooner opt for one of those Agiles for the same money. That godawful PRS wrapover bridge gives me nightmares. *shudder*

I can't find anywhere that sells agile in the UK.... any other suggestions?

The PRS looks okay but I'd prefer something a bit grungier. I had a look at the Yamaha RGX A2 (the weird composite body thing) that claims to have "alnico soapbar" pickups, but from what I've heard they're a bit of a copout. Looks nice though.

i donno, always ben impressed with the quality yamaha manages to achive on even its cheapest guitars - always worth checking out

I take it 10 lbs is heavy then? Bring it on. I love some weight I do. I'm a big lad anyway
