Black Dog
« on: July 29, 2007, 05:13:23 PM »
So i have been looking at bareknuckles for a few weeks now, and i think i want a black dog for my bridge. I am going for Live Zeppelin tone (How the West Was Won). I am replacing the bridge in a Epiphone Les Paul, and i run through a marshall jtm60. How does the black dog do on Zeppelin stuff, it having alnico V magnets in it kind of through me off? Anyone have any experience with it???

I'm pretty sure there are some clips in the Players section. As for how well it does Zep I think the name says it all  :)

I use the Black Dog neck pickup which is amazing and a VHII bridge pickup which sounds fantastic in my RG550 slightly on the bright side but really cuts through live and has a great quality to the thigh end.
