Tower of London is such a waste of time ><

If you wanna be surrounded by Japanese tourists for an entire journey and witness people trying to take all your money - Then by all means go :p

In that case avoid london altogether !

Not at all!

There are some beautiful things to see in London - You could go to the south bank and mooch around, walk around Carnaby Street, Leicester Square, Oxford Street, Charring Cross, Picadilly, trafalgar square, St james's park etc.

If I wanted to do that I'd play Monopoly...
Definitely try to find Denmark Street, if only to tell the staff in the shops that you quite like the gear and you are off home to order it from GAK.
I too use chicken as a measurement.

+1 on the Monopoly places - don't see what's so great about Leicester Square, Oxford St., etc... The South Bank however is a nice area - good for a stroll and lunch on a nice day.  Get the tube out to Kew Gardens and have a gander in Chandlers - it's worth a visit and the area is beutifull.

:D I would suggest a visit one evening to the theatre. I highly recommend "The Woman In Black" at the Fortune Theatre, tickets for mid week shows are easy enough to come by & its not to expensive. It`s a ghost story & i gaurantee it`ll get you going ! infact i`d recommend it to everybody on the forum if you want i good night out.

God I could do with a Gin & Tonic !

If you come in the Summer you should check out the Travelex £10 ticket plays at the NT - Really good fun usually - I saw Tennesee William's Rose Tatoo with the woman from My Family a month ago - Was pretty good.

Going to see another one in a couple of weeks aswell.

I think I'd have to go to the globe if I was watching a play in London.  Although the missus works for the RSC, so I'm a bit sick of Shakespeare.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

A Chinky in the restaurant on the corner of Wardour/Shaftsbury. The staff are so rude its a novelty!

+1 on the woman in black. Very creepy!

A Jack The Ripper tour around Whitechapel. See Time Out for booking info.

Old pubs, like the Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese and The Camdens Head.

The New Intrepid Fox.

The Camden Tup Near The Worlds End. They have an un-manned bar upstairs and you can just help yourself to Lager and Guinness, it's really, really cheap!!

I think it's called the 12 bar club in Denmark St, not bad little live music club.

SW London pubs for the fanny!

A night bus going through North London with a load of drunks, can be very funny!
Warpig, MQ,
Miracle Man-Trilogy Suite, Cold Sweats, Black Guards, Rebel Yells & Irish Tours!
