Wow, that's really nice!

Here's my guitar. Not Uber expensive but I think it looks really nice. Sounds great too.

EDIT:
That LP is even more gorgious!

What was the veneer wood for the one you made yourself?

Imbuia's Burl Veneer. Imbuia is a brazillian wood, looks like walnut...

Imbuia is called imbuya in the Uk and sometimes sold as brazilian walnut.  I have used it one quite a few of my early guitars.  It sounds great, looks great, smells even better - - -  but its a bit heavy for solid bodies

to be honest, i don't really know... i haven't played many guitars. i like the neck though, its a bit thinner than the LP neck, a bit thicker than my friends strat. i wouldn't say its too thick, feels perfect for me, and i don't have big hands.

I'll give you a chocolate chip cookie if you give me your LP!  I have only heard of Imbuya, are they one and the same?

another XR 1
this time with a Kahler trem, and mid boost

I would say the neck is nice sized. biggest I have played, but that doesn't say much. I would prefer it a tiny little bit bigger I think, but its close enough

Yes, Imbuya is how overseas is named but here in Brazil it's Imbuia... I forgot to change for Y....

I like candys so much, but you'll need much more than only one to buy my LP  :D

Will, thats wierd, yours looks like it has a different color coating or something- its not as transparent as mine. i wonder if thats because of possibly different years, a refinish, or just different cameras...

i don't really know anything about finishes, but it looks like the colors are the same, and the clearcoating or something is different.

yeah I thought that too.
so yours is slightly translucent then?

mine is simple goldburst, can't see any wood grain  :o
its the pics from the eBay listing lol so not mine

yours is 82? well mine is 81. change of specs to gain popularity?
I am a bit jealous of yours

EDIT: colours are either, goldburst, tobacco sunburst, or cherry sunburst

looks like I have gold, you have tobacco, and then Steve Clark had the cherry.

WFD... if you are at allinterested, you could probably find all colour variants now :D
